Step2 Wagon For Two Review & Giveaway

If you have read any of my past Step2 reviews then you know how I feel about the company. To me Step2 leads the way in creativity, design, fun and durability. They really open up a word of possibilities to little imaginations. This spring Step 2 has introduced a number of fun new items and I can’t wait to share with you two of them.

For this review I will begin with the Step2 Wagon for two plus – pink. 

This wagon puts a twist on the classic little red wagon. Constructed in hard durable plastic, this wagon features; a latch door, two contoured seats, under seat storage, and a deep leg well with molded-in drain holes. It has a long handle for easy pulling that folds up and all the way down for easy transport and storage. Two safety seat belts are also included. This classic Step2 wagon is a beautiful shade of pink, marketed exclusively for girls – of course boys are always welcome to ride along. **Note this wagon is also available in previous shades of green and blue

When the wagon arrived, my husband began constructing it almost immediately, as my daughter freaked out when she seen the box – after all not only was it a wagon, but a pink one! Assembly took about a half hour because my husband had some trouble following the included directions. He said they were a little vague. I should note although he can build a house from top to bottom, directions were never his thing.

Once we were set up we took a quick trip around the block to check out how it rode. The first thing I noticed was how easy the wagon turned. I imagined having the weight of not just one but two children ( my son jumped in as well) would make it a struggle turning corners. I can barely turn a shopping cart with my daughter in tow along with all my food – Is that embarrassing to admit?? The way the front wheels are able to spin and maneuver makeing turning this wagon a breeze! In fact we now take the wagon down to the bus stop, to pick up my older kids daily, as opposed to our stroller. It’s just so much easier for me to manage and the storage is great since my daughter can’t leave the house without at least a few toys. It’s also very hot here in S. Florida so we always take a bottle of water with us, making the drink holder  another big bonus.

Overall this wagon was a hit with us! The new pink version was a huge hit with me. As you can imagine after three sons ( whom I love) when it comes to my daughter, pink is the only way to go. I will make mention of the 75lbs weight limit though. A lot of products from Step 2 hold up well to extra weight. Take the Extreme Coaster for example, Mama has taken a ride or two down it herself - I couldn't resist! The wheels on this wagon however, will start to displace with an overly heavy load. So keep that 75lbs limit in mind.



I also put together a quick video to show you the features up close and in use. I need to again make mention of my mommy brain here though, as I refer to this wagon as the Step2 Pretty In Pink Wagon plus 2. My daughter keeps calling it her Pretty In Pink Wagon and I guess the name stuck with me! Hey, It is pretty and pink, so I went with it ;-)
