What Do You Get Him On Valentines Day?

I'm looking forward to Valentines Day. I know it's one of the holidays you either love or hate, but I am one who loves it. My reason might be a bit selfish though. It's one of the only holidays me and the hubby actually exchange gifts for. Lucky for him I'm a simple girl and a bouquet of Valentines Day Flowers go along way.

However, now a days he does need some reminding and coaching. Before are kids came along, of course it was all about us as a couple, and he was an amazing shopper. He was so thoughtful and I never had to leave any hints - like the catalog open to the gifts for her section. Oh, yes! I try and pull that old trick all the time.

Lucky for him the Internet has made life easier with great sites like Interflora offering many great options for all the holiday's men tend to forget. At Interflora you can order anything from an anniversary gifts to a bottle of wine for a nice romantic evening. They even have some great options for next day delivery.

Even though men are more forgetful, and more likely to find themselves in trouble for forgetting the holiday, I still think they have the Valentine holiday easy; flowers, candy and jewelry are always a great gift option as they seem to be the theme of the day, right? What about for men though? I go through this every year, a box of chocolates and flowers seems so womanly to me - even though I have gone the route before.
This year I came across this cute "Hamper Basket For Him".  To me it's seems to fit the tone of the day and has some great stuff in it like cashews and a bottle of Merlot.

This is something I would feel better about getting him... In addition of course, to the fancy boxer short with hearts all over them that he has come to expect...lol

I also found a great gift card service which allows you to not only buy gift cards to his favorite stores but sell gift cards too - just in case he isn't thrilled with my selection ;)

What do you think? What do you get the man in your life for Valentines Day?

Um, this will sound bad but usually nothing. We're not that big on gifts for each other. Sometimes he surprises me with my favorite candy.

I love Valentines day and ...love is after all why I married him, so I try to put a great deal of thought into what I get MUF. I'm still undecided on this year but I like the idea of sending a basket with treats and stuff that he'd enjoy.

I have a hard time getting fits for my husband no matter what the occasion. I know I let him know my likes and dislikes through the year for different days or events but he really doesn't emote as well. Even after 18 yrs together and 13 1/2 married I still have a hard time. This yr he has a significant birthday too.

It is always really hard to shop for men. I haven't even started thinking about valentines day yet and his birthday is about the same time. I better get moving huh.

Valentines Day is always hard for me because hubbys birthday is Feb 12th! I use to go all out on Valentines day but ive been slacking the last few yrs. Its hard to buy for a man on Valentines Day. The same candy , card, boxers and etc gets old. Of course hes been slacking on Valentines day too. Hes a put it off to that last milisecond kinda person.. .so Ive ended up with some doozies. LOL

Cute comic! Not sure what I'm going to get him this year... he really likes chocolate so I might get him some gourmet bars (a little cliche though :p)
