I often take a little time daily to check out all the post you crafty Mama's come up with. I love finding cute craft projects, especially ones I can tackle with my kids. I've been thinking a lot lately about my Grandmother. She was amazing at crafts... any kind of crafts. You name it she could build it, make it, paint it and more. She was very inspiring to me and often got me wrapped up in crafts of my own. Without her around I find my creativity lacking and am scared to hit the craft stores on my own. I don't know where I would begin.
I recently was introduced to Factory Direct Craft, which is an amazing online site featuring all craft related materials. Now you all know how I feel about online shopping - I love it! So for me finding an online craft supply retailer, was such a thrill. My mind kind of boggles when I walk into a craft store. At Factorydirectcraft.com I can shop at my own pace and take time to plan my crafts. Oh, and of course you know the best part for me is that my supplies will be delivered right to my door!
With Valentine's Day coming I'm thinking there is no better time than to jump back into the crafting waters. I wanted to start with something simple, that I could display for everyone to see. I decided since my door is bare for the first time in almost 5 months, that a Valentine wreath would be a great place to start! And guess what Factory Direct Craft has everything I need from a Styrofoam heart base, to the tulle and silk flowers to decorate it with.
I'm pretty excited to get back into crafts; it can be so relaxing and rewarding. I know my children love it as well, and I truly miss all those special projects we would work on together. With Factory Direct Craft there will be no more putting off a craft. I can jump right from checking out a fun craft idea to ordering the supplies - and at reasonable prices I might add.
Do you take on different craft projects? What's your favorite? I love to make fabric photo albums. It's been way to long since I created one. I think after my wreath, it's time for my daughter to get her own special album, like my boys have.
