Now that the holidays are over I'm pretty sure many of you, like myself, were gifted a gift card or two. However, what do you do when you really have no use for that gift card? To be honest I myself have simply given away three gift cards over the past month, because they were to places not in my area or simply just for a place I don't shop at.
I would have loved to have sold them but I wasn't aware that was an option. The only place I could think to list them was an online auction site, and I personally would never buy a gift card off one of those sites.
Well, I was just introduced to what might just become one of my new favorite websites - Cardpool.com! This site is amazing, especially for bloggers who seem to rack up those gift cards. So what is Cardpool all about? Cardpool is basically a gift card exchange site. You can sell gift cards that aren't of use to you for cash, buy discounted gift cards or exchange gift cards for Amazon gift cards. Pretty awesome right?
Now I mentioned how I wouldn't buy a gift card for an auction site. The reason I would never do such a thing, is out of fear I was buying an "empty" gift card. Well, Cardpool.com puts all your fears to rest in two ways! First, they have a purchase guarantee program which basically guarantees a buyer that if they are unhappy with their gift card purchase for any reason, they get a full refund when they return their unused gift card. They also guarantee your card will be valid. That brings me to reason two you can purchase with no fear from Cardpool.com - You are purchasing not form another member but from Cardpool themselves. So you are always buying and selling directly to Cardpool.
Cardpool takes all the guess work out of your purchase by purchasing the cards from the buyer directly and verifying them before they are sold to you. Come on tell me this isn't an great site! I know at one point or another we have all been stuck with a gift card that we really appreciated but had no use for, or just honestly could use the cash for instead of a meal at a local restaurant.
Head over to Cardpool.com and check out the site for yourself, I'm pretty sure you love it as much as I do!
