Holiday Guide To Gaming - UTV Ignition Games!

UTV Ignition Games has released some new additions to the gaming family just in time for the holidays! First on my list to share with you is National Geographic Challenge! Great for parent who are looking for video games with more of an educational value to them.
Now available for Xbox, Wii and PS3 National Geographic Kids is a family-friendly quiz game for players of all ages!

In the National Geographic Challenge players have the ability to explore our planet through history as well as geography! The game includes both single and multi player modes, where up to four players can complete in quests to claim territories on the in-game globe, by answering questions correctly, while using various tactics to foil their opponents. Players playing this game via PS3 and Wii will be able to take advantage of motion via the Wii controller or PlayStation Move unit, while Xbox and PS3 users will be able to appreciate approximately 60 minutes of HD video straight from National Geographic award-winning video crews.

Buy It: This educational game is also affordable! Purchase for Xbox or PS3 for the SRP of $29.99 or on Wii for just $19.99

Released on November 22nd was Kung-fu High Impact available on Kinect for Xbox 360.

I knew my oldest son would LOVE this game as he is a big fan of martial arts and anything at all related. In Kung Fu High Impact you really get a workout as well. In this full body motion fighting game you defeat enemies with powerful kicks, punches and even the occasional object all using the motion from your body.

You are also given the option of playing in either story mode, challenge mode and of course multi-player mode - Just be sure both players have ample room surrounding them.

You are just like your favorite comic book hero and are pitted against Ninjas and crazy monsters. You are the actual character and no move is off limits. They have really gone above and beyond making YOU a part of the game. You are even placed in the cutscenes - Yes, you! Not an avatar or set up character.

Be warned you will get a workout, a big workout, with this game. If you tend to get really into the action I would recommend making sure there is nothing you can break within a 12ft This game really sucks you in, and at points the enemies just keep coming. Turning you into a Kung-Fu machine; kicking, punching, yelling, spinning and maybe pulling a muscle or two! I had a blast with this game but tired out QUICKLY! I will leave this one up to the kids.

Of course as with most motion sensored games occasionally the sensor will have some problems interpreting your moves, but overall this was one of the more "spot-on" action pack Kinect games we have come across.

Buy It: Available now for Xbox Kinect for the SRP of $39.99
