Holiday Guide To Gaming - Hasbro Family Game Night 4

At this point I am sure I will sound like a broken record telling you all how much my family enjoys video games. Yet, I don't think I've shared how much they also love board games.  When we were given the opportunity to try out Family Game Night 4 by Hasbro for Xbox 360 ( it is also available for PS3 and Wii consoles) I really felt there could not have been a better game suited for my family.

In Family Game Night 4 you get to experience all the fun and action of the popular Hub Network TV game show right from your own home. Brought to life with PlayStation Move or Xbox Kinect you can turn your own living room into a game board! Featuring classic games with a twist such as Connect 4 Basketball, Yahtzee! Bowling, Scrabble Flash, Bop-It Boptagon, and Sorry Sliders,  the fun never ends. We are a competitive family so we really got into this one!

Family Game Night 4: The Game Show will have you scrambling into the action with Scrabble Flash where you will race to re-arrange virtual word tiles. Remember, the longer the word, the better the score.

Connect 4 Basketball will have you jumping for that long shot. The first team to get four balls of the same color into the net, in a row, wins! It's probably no surprise that Bop-It Boptagon was my favorite. In Bop-It Boptagon players are challenged to execute the right movement at the right time at an ever increasing pace. This one really had us going. We were laughing, yelling and really trying to "one-up" each other...lol

In Yahtzee you get to try your hand at bowling by rolling giant balls and knocking down pins to get the best combination score. Lastly, you have the game of Sorry Sliders in which you try to achieve a bulls-eye or block their opponents with giant game pieces!

The game offers two-player individual or simultaneous game play. You can also adjust game settings for the length of game play as well as game rules.

Buy It: Purchase Hasbro Family Game Night 4: The Game Show for about $39.99 where video games are sold.
