Holiday Guide - Dremel Trio (Giveaway)

Have a man in your life who just love power tools? I sure do and couldn't think of anything else he would rather have this Christmas. Even though he is now out of the construction business he loves to do work at home on the weekends. I don't think he would feel complete without still having the option to work on DIY projects around the house. We also have a lot of up and coming home improvement projects in store for the new year, so I knew this Christmas would be a great time to introduce him to Dremel's new line.

Dremel is a leader in versatile tool systems. Unfortunately even after eleven years married to a total tool collector my knowledge of tools is minimal. I could not decided which tool would be the most welcome addition to our home or my husbands collection so I enlisted his help. He immedietly spotted the Dremel Trio as a must have for it's muliple functions in a single tool.
The Dremel Trio allows you to cut, sand, and rout using one multi-purpose tool. Featuring a system of accessories and attachments to increase versatility, Trio users can cut multiple materials including wood, plastic, drywall, sheet metal, wall tile and more without switching tools.
With a unique a unique 360 degree cutting technology and plunge ability you can stop and start cuts wherever you want.

Features:

  • 360-degree cutting technology allows you to make cuts in any direction while keeping the tool in the same orientation. Or, you can follow the cut line like a regular saw...its up to you
  • The high-speed spiral cutting action makes clean cuts with smoother edges that require less sanding
  • 90° pivoting handle for superior comfort and control
  • On board dust extraction port to maintain a clean workplace
  • Non-marring base to protect delicate work pieces
  • Telescoping foot for accurate depth control while cutting, sanding and routing
  • 10,000 - 20,000 RPM variable-speed switch for greater versatility and optimal control
  • Lock-on button for comfort during extended use

  • My husband has used this for a few odd jobs and is planning on using it for some tile work I wanted done in the new year. His only complaint is that it can only be used with wood up to 1/2 inch thick. He did make note it is great for crafters and quick around the house jobs. He was pleased overall with the ease of use and how it handled.

Buy It: Purchase the Dremel Trio at your local Home Depot for the SRP of $99.99
