To start you fill your front tank with water and the secondary back tank with solution if needed. These tanks are removable making filling a breeze. You do however want to make sure you secure the cap to the tank well after your done filling it. When you replace the tank it goes back in the mop cap side down, so if you didn't tighten the cap well, you will get some leakage.

Once your Mop is filled with water, you can plug it in and wait for the steam. The front of the unit has an indicator light letting you know when your steamer is heated and ready for use. This happens fairly quick, so there isn't much waiting around. Now your off and ready to tackle that dirt and grim. The swivel head is great for maneuvering along baseboards, the kitchen table and even behind the toilet bowl. When your done mopping you can rest your mop in the included cooling tray to protect your floors from the heat while the mop cools down.

I love this steam mop, it tackles sticky juice spills, muddy paw prints and disinfects even the yuckiest areas of the house, like behind the boys toilet (EWW). When I'm done I toss the dirty mop pad in the washer and slip on a new one so I'm one step ahead for the following day. What a great time saver this mop is for a Mom with her hands full.
