Holiday Guide - Hasbro For Girls

Hasbro has so many great products this holiday season it's hard to keep up!  My Princess has a weakness for many of their products, but her must haves this year include; My Lil' Pony and Strawberry Shortcake. I must admit this warms my heart some as I spent countless hours playing with my Strawberry dolls and brushing My Lil' Ponies hair. I am so glad to see My Lil' Pony has stood the test of time and Strawberry Shortcake is back and better then ever.

The Strawberry Shortcake Twirling Flower Fashions set is certainly not like the Strawberry Shortcake dolls I played with. This set features a rotating base. When you place the doll upon the base and pull the lever the doll rotates. You then squeeze the plastic rose which will shoot water upon Strawberry Shortcakes dress revealing fun patterns.

Water play can be messy so I would recommend placing a towel upon the kitchen table for play, or if you live in a warm climate like myself, this is great for some outdoor play. This set is recommended for children 4+

The My Little Pony Twilight Sparkles Twinkling Balloon playset, my daughter happened upon in the store and immediately asked for.

Coming equipped with Twilight Sparkle Pony, her pal Spike and a hot air balloon, your child can now send Spike and Twilight Pony off on a magical hot air balloon ride  (additional room for another pony provided). What the hot air balloon special is that with 3 "AAA" batteries the balloon not only plays delightful music but has a night mode which illuminates while playing soothing music. This is a great feature if your Princess is like mine and MUST have some form of light on to go to bed - a nightlight and a toy, you can't beat that. My Little Pony has too come a long way since I was a girl. This set is recommended for ages 3+

Buy It: Purchase the My Little Pony Twilight Sparkling Balloon Playset or the Strawberry Shortcake Twirling Flower Fashions Set for $19.99. Available at most major toy retailers nationwide and on

I used to have Strawberry Shortcake too and loved her. I remember My Little Ponies from my "baby" cousin. I'm glad to see they have stood the test of time. :)

The My Little Pony playset is cute. I will have to check that out for a stocking stuffer this Christmas.
