This is much more then a device for simply surfing the web. You can download eBooks direct from the Kobo store, choose from over 1000 of the Apps featured in the SlideMe App manager, listen to music through the built-in MP3 player and even share photos. I will say although this is an Android operating system, you can not download Apps via the regular Android market that you would use on say, your Android powered cell phone. Apps have to be download through the SlideMe App Store already equipped in your Nextbook Premium7 Tablet. Yes, this means no Angry Birds but trust me there are thousands of Apps to choose from - games, radio stations, sports trackers, weight loss trackers, social networking Apps etc


I could do just about anything on my Nextbook Premium7 Tablet. I can check my emails, view my blog, visit Facebook, send out a tweet or simply browse through my eBook collection and lay back and catch up on some reading. I often find myself using the MP3 player while cleaning up around the house.

Believe it or not, I am really not that tech savvy. In fact I don't even own a smart phone! The Nextbook was really simple for me to use. The touch screen required ( for someone like me) a day of adjusting. Once I got the hang of the touch-screen though I was ready to go. The main display screen will show you the time, date and even your local weather. With a tap of a button your switched over to screen featuring the SlideMe App store, your eReader, Mp3 Player, Web browser and much much more. Did I mention it's also a portable video player? Really what more do you need....

In fact the Nextbook Premium 7 was so simple to use my four year old daughter master it! She downloaded her own games ( after permission from Mommy of course), learned to toggle the screen view and even search through the fun live wallpaper selection.

I did have a issue with my unit, to the point it just stopped working. I got to experience first hand E-FUN's Customer service and they were more then helpful. My unit is on my way back to them and they are replacing it with a brand new unit. I did do alot of research before writing this review to make sure this was a uncommon occurrence. From all the reviews and research I have read  this does not appear to be something that happens often with this unit and it not a common malfunction or a glitch with this model.
