Gift Guide - Lite Sprites Review

From the day my daughter first seen the Lite Sprites commercial she was hooked! And I have to admit I was pretty curious about them as well. Have you seen them? They do look pretty cool. So what was it that attracted me and my daughter to them, you might wonder? Well, if you haven't had a chance to check out Lite Sprites they are one of the newest toys to the WowWee line-up. WowWee being a leading designer, developer, marketer and distributor of innovative hi-tech consumer robotic and entertainment products.

Lite Sprites™ live in the magical land of Lite-Topia. Lite Sprites themselves use color and light to express their moods and feelings. Each Lite Sprite has their own unique personality. The sisterhood includes five Lite Sprites - Prisma, Astra, Meadow and Brooke. Each sister has the ability to capture color from the world and share it.

We received Prisma and a light wand. Prisma who is the leader of all Lite Sprites comes with her own tree pod. The wand is were the magic begins. The wand has the ability to capture color and share it. The wand has select colors already built-in but what makes the wand magical is it's ability to collect color from almost any flat surface!

Product Features:

  • Magical color and light displays
  • Lite-Topia SFX and audio guidance
  • Select color from the built-in library and share it with Prisma and the rest of Lite-Topia
  • Capture color from your world and share it
  • Receive color from another Lite Wand
  • Play built-in color games: Color Hunt and Color Mix
  • Send spells to Sprites and playsets
  • Volume control

This set makes as a great starter kit, opening your child's imagination to the entire Lite Sprite collection which includes some awesome playsets and of course 4 other "sisters" each with their own look, who are incharge of a certain section of the enchanted land of Lite-Topia.

I have to say since Lite Sprites went from T.V to her hand, my daughter is having a hard time understanding why she can not grow her collection. Of course Mommy knows Santa already has Lite Sprites on his list and even picked up a set already. As Mom I was happy with the thought put forth in this toy. I also love that we can add to the set and basically collect them all. When I find something my kids really seem to be into I'm one of those people who has to complete the collection. I can't wait to see her little face Christmas morning and I wouldn't be fooling anyone if I didn't say I'm pretty excited myself to play with her in Lite-Topia.

Buy It: Purchase the Prisma and Lite Wand Set ( 4 'AAA Batteries required) for about $29.99 directly from Additionally you can also find Lite Sprites at Kmart and online at

These are really neat! They never had any cool toys when I was a kid. Well I guess the glow worm wasn't too bad but you had to squeeze it pretty hard. LOL
