Jem DVD set

How many of you were 80's Kids? Who could forget some of the amazing cartoons from this era. Saturday morning cartoon just aren't the same. Not to long ago I put together a list of my top ten 80's cartoons ( some of you may have read it), well no one else could have top that list for me besides Jem!

I was a big fan of JEM and the Holograms. I can still remember my Jem rock doll and Jem car, which had a working radio built in to the trunk. Being the Jem fan that I was, I couldn't pass up the chance to, all these years later, own the JEM and The Holograms: Season one DVD set. I usually say how excited I am to share classics from my childhood with my own kids but who am I kidding... This time I couldn't wait to sit down with or without them and catch up on some classic Jem. I could believe the overwhelming rush of memories I got and how much I had actually forgotten.

On October 11, 2011, Shout! Factory, in collaboration with Hasbro inc, with release JEM and the Holograms: Season one 4-DVD set, including all the episodes from the complete first season and the bonus feature Video Jukebox.

The series "JEM and The Holograms" ran from 1985-88 in first run syndication and still boasts loyal and vocal fan base. It is frequently credited with influencing fashion in the late 80's and beyond, and launching the careers of female pop-rock stars and music groups. The series follows Jerrica Benton, whose discovery of Synergy, a powerful computer companion, allows her to transform from co-owner of Starlight Music into rock star Jem! Teaming with her sister and best friends who form the Holograms, Jem sets out to make their musical dreams come true, as she battles the ruthless Eric Raymond and his musical proteges.
