Change Your Clock Change Your Battery - Energizer Giveaway

October is of course Fire Safety Month. In Honor of Fire Safety Energizer, throughout October, is inviting parents across the country to join the Energizer Bunny® Brigade on Facebook (www.facebook.com/energizerbunny) for a chance to win free smoke alarms and batteries for their home or a grand prize of a home fire safety makeover. Sound great right. However what is even better is spreading the word on how important fire safety is.

With daylight savings soon upon us what better time to ask for everyone to adopt a life-saving habit – changing the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. This year, the time change is on November 6 and I would like to remind you to spread the word - When you change your clocks, don't forget to change your batteries in ALL the smoke detectors in your home ( and don't forget those carbon Monoxide detectors as well). This is an important step in keeping yourself and family safe and is worth a few minutes of your time.

Did you know that Thirty-eight percent of fatal fire injuries occur in homes without working smoke alarms, while 24 percent occur in homes in which at least one smoke alarm is present but fails to operate. So please  don't forget the motto - Change Your Clock Change Your Battery®.

Win It: Energizer would like to offer one lucky reader a smoke alarm equipped with Energizer batteries in honor of Fire Safety Month and the Change Your Clock Change Your battery Campaign

WE have a smoke alarm in the hallway - we live in a very small house, so everyone would be able to hear it from their bedrooms.
