Appliance Art - Vinyl Chalkboard Review and Giveaway

Sponsored by Tomoson.com
I have long debated the chalkboard paint for my son's wall. Unfortunately for him after the disaster that was painting his room red, I was not willing to take such a drastic step. Recently I can across the Instant chalkboard from Appliance Art.

Instant Chalkboard

The Instant chalkboard vinyl is a peel and stick roll, with hassle free installation. Originally created to turn your fridge into a convenient message board - I found the Instant Vinyl chalkboard convenient enough to adhere to most surfaces. Of course I took the simple route and placed it on my sons wall.

Write on walls
I peeled the vinyl chalkboard from the roll and had it on the wall in 5 minutes tops. It came equipped with chalk and a tool for smoothing out the chalkboard. What I loved was of course the simplicity of it, but also the fact it wasn't permanent, it was mess free and if I wanted to I could have created a chalkboard on just about any smooth surface - from the fridge, cabinets, table top the list just goes on.

My son has been dying for a "chalkboard wall" and my daughter thought it was just about that coolest thing ever. They do argue a bit over it so I may have to get one and place it in a common room. My son is at that "this is my room, stay out" age..UGH
vaynl chalk board
Buy It: For $29.99 I find the Vinyl Chalkboard at www.applianceart.com to be priced fairly in regards to similar vinyl art and decals. One roll measures  24" X 60 and can be cut to fit odd shaped furnishings etc. If your child is a fan of Good Luck chuck on the Disney channel, he or she may have even spotted the Vinyl chalkboard in the show before! Check it out....

Win It: One lucky winner will win a roll of instant Vinyl Chalkboard!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I would love to put this over my fridge or maybe just the wall right next to it. I know the perfect area and with 4 kids something like this can be GOLD.

(I don't see entry requirements :)

I would put mine on the door in the kitchen that goes to the garage! I currently have my calendar hanging there and a small white board sticker on the fridge (next to that door) that is where I write a chore list everyday. It's way too small and those markers aren't cheap! We would have a new message center/chore chart in our kitchen! This product is awesome! thanks!
