This product was something we just had to checkout. I remember catching fireflies as a child and was a bit disappointed that my daughter ( my own Firefly) doesn't have that opportunity - As there seems to be not one firefly here in Florida. When we came across My Pet Firefly I knew this would be the perfect way to share the joy and magic of Fireflies with her.

My Pet Firefly is just as it sounds. A animated firefly is enclosed in a glass jar, etch with firefly in the custom sculpted glass. The cute and comically inspired firefly glows and flickers around the jar. My Pet Firefly also floats around the jar in a realistic manner. You can see a small string from the top of the jar to the firefly in the light. For the most part when your firefly is floating and glowing around the jar, it's a realistic as it gets compared to the real thing.


Whether this is purchased for entertainment, a night light, etc children and adults alike or sure to fall for this cute firefly. Requires 2 AA Batteries (included)
