Back To School With Lee Jeans

Sending four kids back to school is far from cheap. With ever growing supplies list, shoes, pants, shirts and more - Back to school can be nearly as expensive as the holiday season for me. I am always looking for quality at a good price. I learned the hard way saving money isn't always worth it, if I have to go right back out and buy something, because my original purchase saved me money but was not at all quality.

Lee Jeans are a brand I have come to expect both a good price on and get quality long term wear out of. This back to school season we not only chose Lee as our jeans of choice when out shopping but got to sample a few pairs as well.
Lee generously sent 3 pairs of boys jeans for us to check out. My favorites as well as my sons were the Lee Relaxed Bootcut Jeans for boys sized 8-18.

My boys have to wear a belt as long as their pants feature belt loops - school rule. So what made these really appealing to my boys was the included belt, completing the look of the jean. Plus it was more of a fashionable nylon, loose fitting belt as opposed to the one they usually are made to wear. This was a BIG bonus for them. The Lee Boys Bootcut Jean sure-2-fit waistband makes for a custom fit. The jean has a relaxed fit with the classic 5 pocket style, the back pockets being slightly oversized. The custom wash features a fashionable look, with two washes available for this style. Of course being bootcut these jeans also have a wider opening at 18".

The third pair of jeans we received was the Classic Lee Straight Leg Relaxed Fit. Comfortable and always in fashion. The Relaxed Fit Jean by Lee also has a sure to fit waistband for custom adjustments, and five pocket styling.

One of the main things I look for in jeans besides denim quality - since my boys are known to put a hole through the knee in under a week - is  the adjustable waistband. My older son is in that in between stage - going down a size makes his jeans to tight for tucking in his shirt ( school rule #2) and going up a size leaves too much room. With the adjustable waistband I can go with the large size, getting a longer wear and I can adjust the waistband for the perfect fit for now.

Buy It: Find Lee Jeans at retailers nation wide. The SRP of these jeans ranges from $18 to $20

I love Lees - but I can't get my girls to wear them.. They have to have super skinny jeans - no flares - no logos - and we can no longer shop at my favorites like Kohls with my 30% coupon off - or JCPenney... now it's Forever 21 - Wet Seal - Macy's.. Boy oh Boy they are turning into me - except I would not be caught dead without my Calvins. ha

I really like the looks of the jeans with the belt. I wonder if Lee has the same jeans in Mens sizes? My 13 yr old is now in a 34-32... yep MENS Sizes! He is already 6ft tall!
