One thing I have learned overtime is Rubbermaid kitchenware is built to last. It's a name that I have come to trust, so when giving the option of reviewing the 8pc glass set with matching lids, I was more then willing to see if quality still came with the name.

I'm not sure what happens to a lot of my kitchenware - lids, silverware, bowls and more just seem to disappear all the time. With that being said of course the first feature that stood out to me was the easy find lids system. Lids snap to bases and other lids to make finding the right lid a breeze. This 8Pc glass easy find lid system comes with a containers of various sizes. Most suited us well. There were two sizes that I wish were a little bigger, because for our family they serve no big purpose. I did like that the lids and bases nested neatly for compact storage - We can use all the cabinet space available. They also locked tightly with built-in gaskets to form a leak proof seal.


I prefer glass to plastic 100% of the time, and this set was no exception. The larger sized bowls were great for left overs or even a bowl of cereal. I'm also always on the look out for a short cut which this set provided. The Rubbermaid glass easy find set is oven proof up to 425 degrees (containers only!) and the lids and containers are both microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. This means I can go from the fridge to the oven and straight to the dishwasher with ease.

The Rubbermaid glass Easy Lid system is great for serving, traveling with, reheating and storing. A multifunctional product is also something always high up there on my list when looking to purchase something new, especially in the kitchen.
