Christmas in July with Storkie - Do you procrastinate?

Sometimes I wonder is it ever to early to start thinking about Christmas? Every year I promise myself I am going to start early, and that doesn't just include gift shopping. Planning the little stuff early helps provide you with a less stress free holiday season as well. Like Christmas Cards for example - I don't know what style Christmas cards you guys do, but photo cards are very important to me. Not only do I love to receive them but, since I don't send photos out of my children during the year, it's import for me to do so at Christmas.

Have you ever tried taking a photo of 4 kids? It is far from an easy task. I can honestly take over 100 shots and still not get a "good" shot ( thank goodness for digital camera's) By the time I get a shot I can at least tolerated and get them sent in for developing, I'm always worried the photo cards won't reach us in time, for pre-holiday mailing.
After an hour, I threw bows on the floor just to get my daughter to look straight and still this was the best I got.
This year I'm determined to get that shot early and have my cards in the mail come December 1st. In fact I've already started browsing Storkie.com in search of that perfect card. This is another factor that jams me up because there are so many adorable choices.

At least with Storkie, I can rest knowing that shall I procrastinate yet again this year, they process and ship next business day. And if all else fails I could add a photo to the inside of a traditional Holiday card, already personalized to save my hand some pain.

So are you a holiday planner? or are you out Christmas Eve grabbing those last minute gifts and stuffing your mailbox?

This post has been written by me, on behalf of Storkie.com. all opinions are 100% mine.

I used to pick items up all year long as I saw them while shopping. However, I don't shop much like I used to so I wait until Oct./Nov. to start for my immediate family. Occcasionally, though, I do see something like recently at a yard sale which I happened to come upon unknowingly. I got a brand new jar candle with decorative topper for my Mom- she will love it- it has snowmen on it. My MIL goes to FLA. for the winter so we celebrate Christmas in Sept. w/ her which means I DO need to shop ahead a bit.

I always wait until 2 weeks before Christmas to start my shopping. And the entire time I'm shopping I kick myself for not doing it ealier so I could find great deals. It happens every year like this. Someday I will actually get in gear and work on it early. I love the cards though, they look really nice.

What a beautiful family you have! I still have the cards I ordered last year. Never sent them. Could I use them for this year?
