Can I have your opinion please

I am going to put up a giveaway this evening using Rafflecopter. I am sure most of you at this point have had the chance to check it out. I want to do what is best for you guys. I go both ways. I like the ease of entries with Rafflecopter, but I also like the comment form - because occasionally someone writes something nice in reference to the product or sponsor.

However like I said I want to do what pleases my readers. I would love your thoughts - Rafflecopter for giveaways? Or do you prefer the standard leave a comment way of entering?

I like the ease of Rafflecopter but I get what you mean re: comments. You can always make the Mandatory entry be to leave a comment. =)

I too love the ease of Rafflecopter and think you could make a mandatory comment as well?!

I completely agree with Addison's opinion & idea!

So funny that you should ask this! The other day I was commenting to another site on how great I thought Rafflecopter was :)

It sure seems to make it a lot easier to enter giveaways, etc! I also commented that I would assume it would make managing all of those entries a lot easier as well!

I say go for it!

I also like the rafflecopter, but I have a few problems with it. I never know how to handle the daily tweets.
Some people say you have to put your GFC in the line if being a follower is needed, and some don't.
Sometimes the "tweet" button doesn't even work.
On the good side, it makes the facebook 'like' and following on twitter part super easy, and i would assume it would be easier for you.

I've been using rafflecopter and I really like it. It's simple to create the forms and then it's simple to enter. They have a few bugs but they seem to be working them out!

I like the chopper and I think because we have the option to just leave a comment if we want too..make it easy to tell the difference between an entry and a comment...make sense?

For the most part I like the ease of entering on Rafflecopter. I like the idea of making the mandatory entry a comment.
The problem I have seen is that it seems to be hard to set a definite ending time. I have looked at some giveaways that have a definite ending time in the rules but when I look at it later Rafflecopter is closed before the stated ending time.
I have also read some blogs where they say some entries have been lost. Maybe that is one of the things they are working to improve.

I love the ease of using it. But as a blogger I am a bit apprehensive to use it myself because there are a few bugs in it I have read. Is it easy to draw the winner using the application?

Rafflecopter. I love it and just posted my first giveaway with it last night. I am always pressed for time so I can actually enter giveaways with Rafflecopter.

I like Rafflecopter and the idea of the mandatory entry being a comment because it will remind us that we entered on your site.

I love rafflecopter! That being said, you can still require comments as the mandatory entry. I've seen a lot of blogs doing it that way! You get to have the best of both worlds! Besides your blogger has been acting wonky for me! LOL

I love Rafflecopter :-)

I really like rafflecopter, maybe a compromise for you, the first comment goes in the comment form and then verified by rafflecopter and the rest goes through rafflecopter. Works great!

I like rafflecopter for giveaways with lots of entries. It's so much easier!

For ease of use, Rafflecopter. And I agree that one of your required entries can easily making a post about the sponsor and/or product. Although I will say that I also kinda like just leaving comments. Feels more personal. But for functionality, I'd have to vote for Rafflecopter.

I really like how easy it is to enter giveaway using Rafflecopter. I think comments are great so you can always have the mandatory entry be a comment

I love Rafflecopter and I use the mandatory entry as leaving me a comment on the blog post :)

Thanks for linking up on Monday Monkey Blog Hop!!

I don't really like Rafflecopter very much.

Rafflecopter is my second least favorite, with Disqus being my first. There are a couple of things on it that make it easier, but I still like the comment boxes like this one better.

As both a blogger and someone who enters giveaways, I love Rafflecopter. Very easy to use from both ends. I like that with one click it draws my winner and another click and it's posted for all to see!

I've actually had people still leave nice comments or thoughts on a post even using Rafflecopter, just leave comments active.

I like the ease of rafflecopter. The comments section is always still there. You could just mention in your post that if someone has something nice they want to say they can leave it in the comments.
