Right in line with his 9th birthday came the release of Pokemon white and black versions for Nintendo DS, and this was all we heard about.
We were lucky enough ( or he was lucky enough) to review Pokemon White for Nintendo DS.
With the introduction of the two Pokemon games comes over 150 new Pokemon's for players to catch! Once you have caught a Pokemon you can train them and battle them. Since there are two versions of this game of course there is a catch, special Pokemon are only available in a single version. Take Pokemon White for example, where you can capture the Legendary Pokemon Zekrom.
Both games also feature separate all new areas, like the White Forest only found in Pokemon White. These games also feature for the first time in the Pokemon game series, a change in seasons while you play. With the change in seasons comes area that can only be accessed in a certain area, and you can bet that certain Pokemon are more likely to come out when the weather is a bit colder or hotter for that matter.
Start off the game as an original girl or boy trainer, whose name you of course choose, then choose from one of three new Pokemon to start you adventure. From this point on until the main game is complete EVERY Pokemon you encounter will be one never before seen on another Pokemon game! Battle your Pokemon in new feature battles like rotation battles, and triple battle.
This game has it all for the ultimate Pokemon lover in you! I know my son will not put it down. My oldest son and him connect with the two games, so I am assuming you can also trade Pokemon but don't take my word on that since my "reviewers" couldn't be bothered with telling mom more then how awesome it is.
Buy It: Pokemon White and black for Nintendo DS are available wherever games are sold for about $34.99
