I'm not sure if I ever shared with you guys, but I had a glass coffee table as well as glass end tables (ya with four kids, what was I thinking). Notice I said HAD a glass coffee table. This past Halloween as we were ready to head out the door, my youngest son sat on the table with a little extra bounce and shattered it! Thank goodness he was OK, however there was no saving the coffee table.
Here we sit almost a year later with no coffee table. I'm just not sure what I am looking for, but I do know it has to be able to stand up to my kids.
I was thinking of switching it up and going with a more traditional style brown coffee table, as opposed to the square coffee tables I always had, like this one...
But if I go wood this means I need knew end tables as well. If I stick with a glass top I can match it with my end tables we have.
This Grace Garden Cocktail table would match perfect, but then that brings me back to the glass not being a "safe" choice. If decided instead I would just focus on wood topped tables with matching end tables. I really loved this set!
I thought it was simply stated, yet had a little extra flair in a warm chestnut finish. I also could use that under table shelve for quite a few things. Now I just have to convince the hubby the kids won't break it!
