Some of you may have noticed over the month the Skintaxtic badge new to my sidebar. Skintaxtic put out a 30 day clear skin challenge and I accepted.
Now I'm not going to say I have acne, because in the total sense of the word, I do not. What I do have is problem skin which I'm sure some of you can relate to. I can go two weeks out of the month with nice clear skin and toward "that time" of the the month my face turns into a breeding zone for blackheads and blemishes.
This is so frustrating, and hasn't always been this way. I have tried multiple over the counter treatments starting from the lowest price, up to the highest with no visible results... And even worse my skin just got dry and even peeled in some spots. So when Skintactix put out the offer I figured what do I have to lose.
I visited the Skintactix Website and picked a treatment right for my skin. Skintactix has 4 acne kits all specifically designed for your skin type. These acne kits help to clear up all types of ance including cystic, vulargis, rosacea, blackheads, whiteheads, and adult acne. Just visit their site to read more and choose the right products for your skin.
I received my kit a few days after Mother's Day, which included a three step treatment and moisturizer.
Step 1, was an antibacterial cleanser, great for most skin types. This cleanser provides extraordinary acne benefits with maximum bacterial control against P. acne's and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases. You are to use this morning and night. I had no trouble with the cleanser my skin took well to it, it provide a fresh slightly tingly feeling, with a slightly minty smell.
Step 2, was a Gentle Follicle Exfoliator to keep follicles clear. This is a watery like lotion, that is applied to the skin to help effectively combat bacteria like P. acnes and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases. This also has anti-inflammatory benefits. The gentle exfoliator is to be used twice a day as step 2 and NOT to be rinsed off.
Step 3, was the Green Tea Poultice. This reminded me of a clay or mud but without that clay smell. Also good for most skin types, the Poultice action literally pulls infection and developing infection up and out of the skin. Provides extraordinary acne benefits against P. acne and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases.
This is to be applied lightly during the AM and more heavily at night. I also used this as a littlspot treatment at night if I had a pimple pop up.
I was also provided with a moisturizer if felt my face was getting to dry, or simply liked to use a moisturizer. With this combination of products, for the first time my skin did not dry out from an acne treatment. I therefore didn't have much use for the moisturizer since I typically don't like to wear moisturizer on my face.
Well here it is around 30 days later and I have to say, yes I am impressed and would continue to buy Skintactix. I noticed improvements within the first week, and now breakout considerably less. If I do have a flair up continued use of Skintactix has cut the "healing" time in half.
I am now a supporter of Skintastic because; I feel it does work, it's not over drying or difficult use.
I use the cleanser in the shower in the AM, and apply step 2 and 3 right before my makeup routine. Before bed I wash my face as I would normally do and it only takes maybe an extra minute to continue with the additional steps.
