Wordless Wednesday - Endeavor w/Linky

5 years in Florida and I always miss the shuttle launches. I was determined to catch the Endeavors final take off. I made it outside just as it launched and had to play the switch game with lenses all in 22 seconds. You can see a bit better in a full sized view.

great post for Wordless Wednesday! It's funny how watching something like that makes you feel a part of it.

You sure got a much better look than my dad did. He was right there, and there were so many clouds that he said they only got 2 seconds worth of view.

did my comment go through? I typed this really long one and it came up with "too many edits at this time"

Weird.

Anyways, GREAT SHOT!!

So very jealous! I remember seeing a VERY faint one March Break when we were in Pompano Beach. Nothing photo worthy at that distance. Always wanted to see a launch, but it's just not going to happen. :(

What great pictures! Really beautiful! I'm a Florida gal too (Jax here!) I was so mad at myself for missing this one, we can usually see them from our backyard.

I have been in Florida for 10 years and never did get to see it. I missed the last one due to the fact I had to take my husband to the airport. Great photos!

Carrie said...Best Blogger Tips[Reply to comment]Best Blogger Templates

That would have been so cool to see. Great pictures regardless :)

Neat! The simulator at Epcot makes me sick - I don't know how astronauts handle launches.

I didn't know this went off. I wonder why my Dad (who works there) never told me! He's been counting down with me since I was little! I am sad to have missed it!

Thanks so much for sharing your photos. I had gotten up early enough to see the launch, but it was too cloudy here in Celebration for me to get any photos. I couldn't even see any of the burn. I hope I can get some of the very last launch in a few months.
