The Women's Bean Project is an incredible organization which I am proud to support, and let you know a little more about.

Since 1989 The Women's bean Project has been helping to break the cycle of Poverty and unemployment by providing jobs in the production of Gourmet food and handcrafted jewelry. The Women's Bean Project is a nonprofit organization which also readies women to enter the work force by teaching life skills along with providing entry-level employment. Women come with the goal of transforming their lives and moving toward self sufficiency.


I received a wonderful selection of some Gourmet foods Packaged and prepared by Women's Bean project participants.


Included in my gift package was:

PJ's Smoky Tomato Dip Mix- With a smokey flavor produced by a paprika and chipotle mix. Add this season to sour cream or mayo for a great addition to vegetables, bagels, or any other foods you may enjoy the flavor with.


Cindy's Sinfully Chocolate Brownie Mix- (delicious) These ultimate chocolate brownies will leave you mouth watering. These are super simple as well just add water! Make about one  9x9 pan, Kosher certified.


Southwest Blend Salsa Mix (medium)- I'm not a big Salsa fan but my kids and husband were definitely up for a taste test! Mix with fresh or canned tomatoes to create the salsa, for the ultimate party or Sunday Football dip. My husband said this was a great instant salsa he loved the idea of just adding to fresh, or canned, in our case tomato's.


Uncle Bob's BBQ Spice Rub- This has to be one of my favorite new rubs, for chicken or beef. We didn't get the chance to try it on Chicken, but it made a great steak with a nice flavor kick of traditional simmering Southern barbecue. Kosher Certified


Raspberry Lemongrass Iced Tea Mix- My kids are actually big iced tea drinkers, so I figured this would go over well with them. Sweet raspberry with a hint of lemon in instant black tea makes this a stimulating choice. Just add water, one package makes one gallon of tea, or spoon for delightful glassfuls, kosher certified. I have to admit I added some sugar not even for the kids but for myself..I couldn't resist!
