Old Time Candy Review and Giveaway!

As soon as I came across Old Time Candy I was intrigued. I was so excited to see some of my past time favorites like Candy cigarettes sticks in their original packaging and candy buttons! I have told my kids about them a million times but to actually be able to share the candy of my childhood with them was an absolutely amazing feeling.


I chose to review the 1960 4lb decade box. Decade boxes are available in themes like Easter, Father's Day, Birthday's and many more. They are also available in standard decade boxes like I reviewed from the 1960 through the 80's in 2lb or 4lb boxes. Can't decided on a decade? They even have a assortment decade box.

Four pound decade assortment boxes measure 12 x 9 x 3 inches and are jammed with over 70 pieces of candy, 60 different candies with some duplicates. This box really was jammed packed I was really impressed with the assortment included and really excited about some of my all time favorites!

I'm not sure if I can name it all but I will try my best with a little help from Old time Candies list. Talk about a box sent from heaven..mmm I of course went straight for the Sugar Daddy oh how I missed those. Old Time Candy may have just become my favorite shop for all my candy cravings. I can't get over the items they have available, that I have been dreaming of. My Father always talks about his favorite candies of the past, I'm seriously considering getting him a personalized Father's Day decade box, this Father's Day.  As I was putting together this review I discovered Apple Heads! I loved them ( yes, I was a kid I loved a lot of candy) My Father and I often reminisce about them. He used to bring me home a sack of candy every Friday and those were ALWAYS included!

Don't worry if your not the assortment type, you can walk the aisle of Old Time Candy and pack your own bag filled with all your personal favorites with over eleven jam packed pages aisles of candy with about 44 pieces of candy to each page aisle..Your sure to find something to satisfy your sweet tooth. And don't worry they aren't really selling candy that is over 50 years old ( even though I would still eat it..lol) their candy is fresh from the manufacturer. They don't make the candy, they tracked down the manufacturers who are still in business and sell their candy on the Internet.
