Bandi was kind enough to introduce my kids to the awesome newer TamaTown Tamagotchi pets and Harumika.

If your anything like me you know basically about Tamagotchi pets but may have asked yourself what is Hatumika? I know I did!

Harumika, originally one of the hottest selling fashion activities in Japan reached America in 2009 to become one of the seasons top sellers.
Hatumika incorporates all girls interest in clothing and brings out the little fashionistas in them. I actually had a ton of fun with this. This was something as a girl, I would have REALLY enjoyed.

Harumika also has it's own interactive website appealing to tween girls every where! I was really impressed with the simplicity of it. You could create amazing and unique looks with ease..Just ask my 3 year old! She had it down packed and her styles locked into place, with me only having to show her once! I have stolen it a few times for my own enjoyment (shhh) But I can really see us adding to her collection as she gets older. Bandi now offers other looks and mannequins as well.

Now TamaTown is the virtual pet reborn. Bandi expanded on the success of Tamagotchi by incorporating more of your feedback, to improve the play experience.

With TamaTown your child has the chance to raise and nurture their very own virtual pet. They can feed him or her, play games, love them, and now even pause them! My favorite feature because I was forever "killing" my pet. With TamaTown you can now connect online with friends and their Tama-Gos! You can even watch TamaTown Tv better known as Tamavision.


Tamatown offers high contrast, four gray scale display screen and changeable design faceplate and choice of Gotchi. Which was great in a home like ours with multiple children. My boys good slip on their White with Kuchipatchi Gotchi and my daughter could replace it with the Pink Gotchi Character Figure Chamametchi, when she wanted to play. And we always have the option of adding to the collection. 
My boys were really enjoying this until my daughter decided it was her turn and took over. She was a bit to young. She just likes to have or do as her brothers do, but TamaTown Pets were perfect for my boys who range in age from 6 to 10.
