2PBB- Britax Frontier 85 Harness/Booster Review and Giveaway CLOSED

It's funny as a Mother Carseat and crib safety were always top priority to me, yet I am starting to realize sometimes I overlooked features because a carseat stood out to me as cute. I know that sounds bad and this is why after I reviewed the incredible Britax Frontier 85, I started to feel like a bit of a bad Mother. I could not get over all the amazing features and how safe I felt basically putting my child's life in the hands of the Britax harness/booster seat.

Let me tell you about some of these amazing safety features and more.
The Britax Frontier 85 offers true side impact protection that helps keep the head and neck aligned in the event of an accident. It distributes crash forces shielding from vehicle intrusion.
The Frontier also offers the highest five point harness system allowing your child to remain harnessed up to 85lbs! The booster Mode holds up to 120lbs. So basically this seat would hold me!

The Britax Frontier 85 safety features are something I could go on and on about, like the Energy-Absorbing Versa-Tether which features a staged-release tether webbing to slow the forward movement, reducing the crash forces reaching the child, and a two-point attachment to minimize forward rotation while anchoring the top of the child seat. Or the Energy-Absorbing Base, that deforms in the event of a crash to absorb impact forces. You really have to check out the Britax site to learn about the MULTIPLE safety features included in this model.

A few weeks back we transitioned my daughter into one of those small boosters, that basically just bumps them up a little higher and the you harness them in with a regular seat belt. You would think after four kids I would know better, but once again it was just so cute. When I look at it now I can't believe we drove around with my daughter in this seat. I feel so confident with the Britax Frontier, my only fear was after basically being free in the other booster she would not like to be harnessed in a "bigger" seat again. At first I planned on using the Frontier 85 in booster mode until I read that for her weight and size she was not even close to ready for booster mode. She made the transition to harness mode with great ease. She loved the height of the seat, it gave her a great "view", it was comfortable, safe and provided her with very much need cup holders.

For those of you that still like things to match or want the cute factor. You can actually have a safe carseat and a cute style with the Britax Frontier 85 covers, like the pink sky.

These covers come included with cover, belly pad and two comfort pads. The fabric content of the face of the cover is 100% polyester. These covers are available in many styles.

Installation was pretty simple, Color-Coded Vehicle Belt Guides indicate the path and positioning of the vehicle lap and shoulder seat belt. The only issue I had was getting the lap belt through the back even with my tiny hands. Once the seat was installed and anchored I was really impressed at how secure to the seat it was. Don't forget this is a seat designed to grow with your child. You won't have to purchase a separate seat when your child is ready for a booster the Frontier is easily convertible and the head rest slides to make for a perfect fit for your child at any age. The Frontier also is made to offer ample space since it is build to accommodate children up to 120lbs. My daughter was always complaining of feeling "trapped" and not have enough room in her old Harness seat. Now she can't wait to jump into her seat, mostly because of how comfortable it also is. Made with a Plush, Premium Cover Set with thick, underlying comfort foam that provides extra comfort, encouraging your child to stay in the proper position.

As you can tell this seat gets an A+ rating from this Mom. I wish I would have gave Britax a shot 3 children ago. I truly have never felt so secure with a carseat.
