Quality Shells GC Giveaway CLOSED

With all my complaining about living in Florida now, one thing I do appreciate is Florida's beauty and sandy beaches. I love collecting sea shells and  seeing all the beautiful Marine life.

I came across this wonderful site that specializes in quality REAL sea shells, called Quality Shells. Their shells and designs are really quite beautiful. And you know what? Their shells come from both the world’s oceans and right here in Florida, so every seashell on their website is unique.

They have beautiful pieces made of shell such as jewelry, lamps and other decor. Of course they also have beautiful shells for display and crafting.

I used to have my guest bath done in an adorable beach theme. Some of these pieces would have fit in beautifully!

Since Quality Shells only sells real shells, you must realize that not all seashells and sea life are not identical because they are a natural product of the oceans and seas. The items you receive will not be the one as pictured but one very close to the one pictured, of the same type and species.

One of my favorite pieces is the sand dollar. I have always loved sand dollar because of the legend. If you don't know it, I would like to share with you the Poem posted on Quality Shells website:





There's a lovely little legend

that I would like to tell,
of the birth and death of Jesus,
found in this lowly shell.


If you examine closely,
you'll see that you find here,
four nail holes and a fifth one,
made by a Roman's spear.


On one side the Easter lily,
its center is the star,
that appeared unto the shepherds
and led them from afar.


The Christmas Poinsettia
etched on the other side,
reminds us of His birthday,
our happy Christmastide.


Now break the center open,
and here you will release,
the five white doves awaiting,
to spread Good Will and Peace.



This simple little symbol,
Christ left for you and me,
to help us spread His Gospel,
through all Eternity.

I used to love collecting Sand Dollars they were so special and unique to me.
