Those that have been following know my Grandmother better known as Nanny, passed away on the 13th. That has had me on a bit of an emotional roller coaster. One minute I'm happy and the next something just sends me into a spiral, and next comes the water works..But I'm working through my feelings about it all the best I can.
My "Little" brothers 17th birthday was the weekend. I swear he was a baby just yesterday! So we had a small family get together Saturday. Sunday was an "around the house day". Hung some new blinds and curtains, painted the front door...Now if I could just get my husband to put my nice handle set back on I'd be thrilled. I even went outside and picked up all the dog poop ( insert your applauds here).
I got the whole house clean today and two post written! That is a miracle in itself. Of course my room and bathroom or trashed but I never count them...lol
It's so quite the boys were home for 4 days straight, and today it was back to school ( YAY) . Gianna is playing nicely in her room and here I sit trying to plan out what else I need to get done. I think I'm set until next weekend. We have plans to take the kids over to the Italian Fest on Sunday, but I'm thinking Saturday I'm going to run up to Home Depot and buy some new trees and start my yearly yard" improvements..Don't ask why I always do this in January. I guess it's the only time of year here that it is cool enough for me to not mind spending more then 10 minutes outside.
Well that's my week in a nutshell..The puppy is whining better get her outside before she has an accident. Can't wait for him to be potty trained fully! I already need to re clean my carpets and I just did that not even two weeks ago. I would like him too be trained before we get new flooring. That would be a MAJOR bonus.
I hope you all had a great weekend and a have a great week.
