I couldn't wait for it to arrive. I loved the look and style online, and was really excited to see if it meet my expectations in person.
When it arrived and I opened the package I immediately got that "Oh No" feeling. It looked like lots of parts and something I couldn't handle on my own.
I really need too start giving myself some more credit. Once I laid out the pieces and took a quick glance at the instructions, I was like a Pro. Set up was super simple and I had it together in know more the ten minutes.
The Jeep® Liberty Sport X definitely not only met, but exceeded my expectations. After four kids and MANY strollers, this has got to be by far the best I have dealt with. Let me first get into some of the great features.
Jeep® Liberty Sport X Features:
Rugged 12" inflatable tires grip all types of terrain
Easy swivel front wheel locks for uneven surfaces
Parent tray includes deep cup holders
Removable child tray with two cup holders & toy steering wheel to keep baby entertained
Convenient one-hand & self-standing fold
Multi-position reclining seat
Grow-with-me five-point safety harness
Large storage basket plus removable cargo bags
I have too say one of my favorite features was the ample storage space in the under carriage and the cargo bags located one to each side. Another feature that I was overly happy about was the one handed and self standing fold.
I have never been able to figure out how to fold up my strollers or unfold them for that manner. If my husband wasn't around I had a problem! And honestly even when he was around it took him 5 minutes to unfold the darn thing. Picture being someplace like Disney World trying to catch the bus and being stuck trying to figure out why the stroller won't fold "this time". Mean while your holding up a bunch of other people. I've been there and it's not fun.
I really could fold this stroller down in the manner of seconds and it STANDS.
The top of the stroller features a parent tray with plenty of room for my keys, cell etc and two drink holders. The child's tray has slots for their bottle and or cup and an adorable steering wheel with beeping horn!
I don't think I have told you about the best part yet.The latest Jeep® Liberty Sport X now accommodates 6 infant car seats so you can design your own travel system! Check out the website for more details on accommodated infant seats.
This combined with the Grow-with-me five-point safety harness and 40lb weight max really makes for a stroller that will last and "grow" with baby. My three year old is only 30lbs, I can't get her out of this stroller. I keep trying to let her know it's not for her but it does suite her perfect!
Of course the seat reclines for babies unable to sit up unassisted and there is a window in the hood so you can always have an eye on your child.
Overall I loved the style, size, storage, rugged wheels and convertible feature.
I really don't have any cons, but if your looking for something petite this isn't the stroller for you. The Jeep Liberty Sport X is a pretty decent size. Yet it folds down nicely and maneuvers with ease. I can't think of a better stroller at this price point. Note* This is not intended to be used as a jogging stroller.
