Step 2 Lifestyles Master Chef Kitchen Review

Being a first time Mother of a girl after 3 boys, anything I would consider "girly" is always near to my heart. However I never realized what I may consider "girly" sometime provides little boys with endless fun as well. I purchased a kitchen for my daughter two years ago All pink shaped like a castle. As much as my boys enjoyed it, probably more then her, you could tell it was a little awkward for them to be playing with a pretty pink castle. When Step2 gave me the Chance to review the Lifestyles Master Chef kitchen I jumped at it. Not only is is from a quality brand I trust, but was suitable for both my daughter and my sons.

Step2 has been a part of our life since my first son, 10 years ago. Step2 continues to rank high up there, for their outstanding quality, durability, and they are my favorite for imaginative/pretend play toys.

The kitchen arrived in a huge box but no so heavy as I could get it in the house on my own. It sat in the garage for a day or two waiting for my husband to get out there and put it together. I finally opened the box and didn't see a thousand screw and pieces, and thought to myself... Mama just might be able to manage this one. So of to work I went!

I had the whole thing constructed in about 45 minutes and was amazed by all the features. They didn't miss a step with this kitchen.

There is plenty of storage, even the classic cut outs in the cabinets to stand the dishes up. A real working phone, under the cabinet lights, and a stove top complete with lights and boiling sounds! Multi leveled counter tops and sink with swivel faucet.

I can't stress enough how much I was impressed with this kitchen. It  was almost better then my own..lol. Included with over 36 pieces like cups, spoons, forks, cooking utensils a coffee pot and more. I love the center pole from which the utensils hang. I want one in MY kitchen!

The quality was outstanding and I would expect nothing less from Step2. With features that bring it to life like working buttons to "set" the stove temperature and working keypad to "set " the microwave. Your child, boy or girl will enjoy hours of imaginative play with the Step2 lifestyles Master Chef Kitchen, a exclusive to Toys R Us.

If I had to name one issue I had the only thing I can think of is.. Some of the holes were not drilled completely and I needed to drill them out myself. Other then that all that was needed for construction was a Philips head screw driver and optional power drill. I was very proud I was able to construct it on my own. The stove top and cell phone also require AA batteries and the under the counter lighting AAA batteries. The instructions were easy to follow, the number of screws very limited, and the decals clearly marked for placement.

Buy It: You can purchase the Lifestyles Master Kitchen Exclusively at Toys R Us for 159.99$
And when I just checked the price, it  is right now at $109.99 So hurry to TRU and order at this great price just in time for the holiday's.
