Kwikset SmartCode Review and Giveaway CLOSED

Every time we are at our local hardware store I am always admiring the beautiful door handles and locks Kwikset has to offer. We have horrible looking rusty set that was on when we moved in..We just changed the deadbolt for security and that looks even worse the the door knob. As you know from a lot of my past blogging we bought are home a little over a year ago and have been fixing it up and making it our own as we go. Sometime you don't realize how much you would like to do or change when you purchase a home so we had to put off some off the little touches like a new door handle set..actually a whole new door would be lovely!

I was so excited when I got the opportunity to review for Kwikset and they offered me a beautiful variety of SmartCode sets to chose from. The Smartcode Deadbolt is available in three beautiful finishes including Lifetime Brass, Satin Nickel, and Venetian Bronze. Then I was able to chose one of three corresponding handle sets – Arlington Handleset, Tustin Lever, or Juno knob.

So what is the Smartcode by Kwikset?

SmartCode offers the great keyless entry feature for your ease and convenience. Smatcode features a beautiful touch keypad incorporate with a keyed entry.With your own personal code that you choose, you can enter your code and lock it with just one single push! The buttons even light up at night for clearer visibility. The SmartCode complements any Kwikset knob, lever or handleset.

Ever had a visiting friend or family member you had to get a extra key made for? You don't have to worry about running up for an extra key with the Smartcode...You can simply assign them their own code and delete it when they leave! You also don't have to worry about losing a key, with SmartKey re-key technology. This technology allow the user to re-key the lock by yourself in seconds without having to call a lock smith or purchase a new lock.

Do you like the convenience of Keyless entry but family member would prefer a key? Again no need to worry. Although Smartcode allows you to enter your home keyless, it also is equipped with a keyed entry. So if you prefer you can manually lock and unlock your Smartcode with a Key.

Smartcode offers easy installment with just the use of a screw driver and 4AA Batteries. Now as simple as the sounds This was not something I was giving a shot on my own..lol This was definitely a project that required the hubby's attention. After giving it a quick look over, installation went smooth, and I felt secure. Like I had got a brand new door..It's amazing the difference new hardware makes! The SmartCode fits any standard deadbolt lock.We were worried from the sight of it that it wouldn't fit our door and it matched up with no issues.

I also love the fact that Smartcode provides excellent security with its 1-inch, heavy-duty deadbolt and break-in-resistant strike plate. Smartcode also provides me with the security in the way of piece of mind..As a Mother I have always had the fear of locking myself out while doing something simple like taking out the trash with my kid alone in the house. I certainly don't have to worry about this with Keyless entry.
