Toy Story Action Links Review

Thanks to Mom Select and Mattel  My kids and their friends got to check out the super cool new Toy Story action Link Stunt Sets by Mattel!

All I can say is WOW! Now these were geared toward boys but even my daughter really got into these sets. I got to host a party and of course my boys were thrilled to know Mom would be giving out something pretty awesome! The Toy Story 3 Action Links sets are inspired by scenes from the film and there were a few who had yet to see Toy Story 3 so that was are first stop.......Corn dogs and a movie.

Then it was time for some fun! I passed out the cool Action Link sets and Buddy figure packs.
These sets are available in 5 different sets which include:
Evil Dr Porkchop Attacks- set includes a Buzz action figure
Jessie To The Rescue-Set includes Jessie figure
Buzz Saves The Train- Set includes Buzz figure
Sunnyside Breakout DELUXE Playset- Comes with Woody and Big Baby buddy figures
Junkyard Escape- Includes 3 buddy figures: Woody, Alien, and Lotso!

Additionally you can purchase Buddy packs that come in a assortment of Toy Story 3 characters. Two to a pack.

These sets were so cool. Each set preforms a "stunt" like the one pictured below for example... Buzz flies over hits the car, which triggers the switch for the pig to "drop" the canister type thing from his mouth. The reason I was so impressed was because it actually worked! We have had some "stunt" type sets in the past that the would no matter what none of them completely pull off the stunt. I'm sure some of you know exactly what I am talking about. Of course some assembly is required of Action Links but nothing overwhelming. Actually my 10yr old put together the Evil Dr. Porkchop attacks set himself.

Another thing I found pretty cool was the you can collect the sets and attached them for the ultimate stunt set. I was a little disappointed because some of the kids didn't want to open their sets for fear of losing pieces and getting mixed up with each others etc.. I understand that and kids will be kids but it was kind of the point and I would have love to see "the whole" thing in action. However I had to settle for what my kids got. Guess that is why the Buddy Packs were recommended as party favors ..lol

I for sure will be picking up some more sets for Christmas. I'm thinking of getting them each an additional set including my daughter! They have already asked for more so I told them I would let Santa know.

Buy It: If your looking for a fun and entertaining toy that works this season check out the Toy Story 3 Action Link Stunt sets attended for children 5 and up. This is the ultimate gift for a Toys story 3 fan as well! Sets can be purchased through Mattel and are available through most major retailers nationwide.

This was not a paid post and honest opinions were used. Products in this review were provided to me free of cost by Mom Select and Mattel for review only and in no way influence my opinion. My opinions however are mine and yours may differ. Full disclosure always located in nav bar .
