In case you don't know Wilton has been around for 80 years. Leading the industry in producing quality baking goods. Such as bake ware, decorating needs, and food crafting sets. They even have classes to turn a novice such as myself into a professional. I would love to get the time to take some of these classes. I enjoy baking but am always bummed mine does look like the box..lol
So this time around Wilton sent some wonderful products to get us in the Holiday spirit. I used a lot of it making Thanksgiving treats and "practicing" for my Christmas day masterpieces ;)
First things first, I started right of using my Gingerbread Family cookie Cutter Set and Holiday Rolling Cutter.
I loved the ease of the rolling cutter, even the kids could use it. Of course their favorite part was that I let them decorate the cookies themselves! They used Wilton's great Candy Cane Sprinkles, Holly Mix sprinkles, Twinkling Treat sprinkles and Holiday Sparkling Sugars to help them create their little masterpieces.
They also begged me to make the Holiday Peppermint Bark which I wasn't prepared to make. I needed to go get Wax paper, but they drove me insane and I gave in..Tip don't use tin foil..lol
They didn't come out half bad once I was able to separate them from the darn tin foil and they were delicious!! I loved the white chocolate, Peppermint chocolate combo. Not to mention the bottom layer of milk chocolate. I was in heaven, and secretly glad I gave in. They also came with decorative bags to give as gifts. You keep the Peppermint bark in the mold, wrap it in the cute baggy and gift it to a teacher, friend, family etc.
I always love to see what surprise Wilton has in store for the holiday's and celebrations. They have so many choices for the novice to the professional. I can get lost in their site checking out their decorating tips and supplies.
They also have fun treats for the kids like the holiday candy holiday light bulb necklace kit we received and the kids can't wait to make cupcakes with the Woodland Friends Cupcake Wraps N Pix.
Buy It: You can purchase all this and much more and Wilton.com. You can also find Wilton products and your local Craft Stores and even Walmart!
