Santa's Hot List Capresso Review

There is nothing better in the morning then a fresh cup of coffee. We use the coffee maker so frequently we average purchasing about two coffee makers a year. In fact it's become a sort of ritual that I buy my husband a new coffee maker every year for Christmas. Well, not this year, thanks to Capresso.

Capresso specializes in quality coffee makers and espresso machines. I got the opportunity to try out the Capresso CM200 coffee maker and it looks like for once we won't be needing a new coffee maker this Christmas, but that doesn't mean someone on your list doesn't.

The Capresso CM200 is a programmable coffee maker with LCD clock, featuring a space saving design. Easy-to-push buttons located on the glossy black panel make it simple to operate. The handy drip stop feature allows the user to pour a cup of coffee in the middle of the brew cycle.

What I really loved was the Charcoal water filter which removes up to 82% of chlorine. The water in Florida is far from the best. I am in love with the fact that all I have to do is fill the water chamber and the water is filtered for me. After about 60 uses the filter light indicator will blink informing you it's time to change your filter. Don't worry if you don't have the need to filter your water ( although what could it hurt) the coffee maker is still functionable with out the filter in place.

I was really surprised with how many complements I have got on my new coffee maker. Not that I didn't think it looked good, I just didn't think anyone would really notice.
It has a nice sleek design that will suit most decor. A glass carafe with ergonomic handle and brew through lid with a drip-free pouring spout. Located at the back is a removable water tank with handle. I love that I can carry the tank to the sink to fill it, and not worry about spilling water all over the counter in the morning, when pouring water from the coffee pot to the water tank. I can't tell you how many mornings I got more water on the counter then in the "tank".

The Capresso CM200 Brews 10 cups of coffee in under 9 minutes for maximum flavor and aroma. Oh and when I'm making a pot just for myself there is a special setting that provides maximum aroma when brewing only 3-5 cups!
With just a push of a button the coffee filter area swings out for your convenience. I have to laugh when I think of how frustrated my husband got trying to figure out why he couldn't pull out the filter, Only to realize all he had to do was push a button and it would swing right open for him. The included permanent Gold Tone filter is easy to use, clean, and makes for some delicious coffee.
