If you or your children were fans of the Madagascar Movies then you have probably seen the spin off cartoon on Nickelodeon..The Penguins Of Madagascar.
My boys are big fans of the movie and the T.V show. My youngest son actually made me buy the CHRISTMAS DVD just last week. He likes to get a head start! So when we had the opportunity to Review The Penguins Of Madagascar- Happy King Julien Day and New To The Zoo, we were very excited. This review also provided us some family time, watching something we all enjoy.
The Penguins of Madagascar-Happy King Julien Day!
DVD included 8 episodes featuring the best of King Julien. King Julien is one of my personal favorites, me and the kids still like to "Move it" ;)
DVD included titles and episode run downs:
Happy King Julien Day- Party Or Else! Julien announces it to be King Julian day, and calls for celebration, but will all the penguins feel like celebrating?
Assaults And Batteries- Julien's music is driving Skipper crazy, but when Skipper steals Julien's radio batteries a chase follows. They must watch their step when trouble pops up. Will they learn to work together and iron out their differences?
Kingdom Come- Julien falls ill and is taken to the hospital, leaving the lemurs without a king. Skipper convinces Maurice to be king, until Julien returns, Maurice is hesitant because he believes Julien is the "one and only King". Maurice goes crazy after eating lychee nuts, demanding the loyalty of all of the animals in the zoo. After realizing Maurice is serious about being king, Skipper hatches a plan to gain back control from Maurice after he shuts down the power and water to the zoo habitats.
Operation Plush And Covers-When toy Mort plush dolls at the zoo gift shop become very popular, Julien is jealous and ships them back to the factory. Unfortunately the real Mort is taken too!
Crown Fools- Skipper loses King Juliens crowns and the Penguins are now on a mission to find it.
Jungle Law- After a zoo blackout Julien calls into effect "Jungle law" but within minutes havoc breaks loose. Good thing the Penguins are around.
The Helmet-Kowalski invents a helmet that turns thoughts into actions, which King Julien gets his hands on to claim as his own.
All King, No Kingdom- After Maurice and Mort accidentally break Julien's throne, Julien separates the habitat. Maurice and Mort host a party without inviting Julien. Julien enlists the help of the Penguins to gain back attention.

In the Line of Doody- Skipper and the Penguins take it upon themselves to insure the Zoo commissioner's safety at the ribbon cutting ceremony. When they come across a pigeon Frankie who has plotted to "drop one" on the commissioner in retaliation for his implementation of anti-pigeon park rule. This one made the kids giggle..lol
Skorca- The Zoo animals are on alert to watch out for a flying Orca or in the words of Julien a Skorca!
