It's funny how such a simple thing can lead to so much. It all began with a messy toddler bathtub. Designer Rebecca Finell's wheels started turning and the Frog Pod was born.
But the problem solving didn't stop there. She had lots of ideas for other parenting innovations so she sought out a partner, Ryan Fernandez—who could create a successful business—and together they founded Boon Inc. Today Boon offers a wide range of products that help parents all over the world.
I can't believe it took my four kids to before I finally found Boon. Boon offers innovative products for children and babies with a fresh designs. The first time I was introduced to Boon it was the appeal of their Flair Highchair that led me there. It was so different from any other high chair I had seen and I soon found myself browsing through all their innovative products.
It was then I seen the Bug Pod. What a simple idea turned into something fun and stylish. My oldest son is always using my shower because, in his words "there isn't enough room in his shower with all the toys", While mind you some are his as well. When it came down to choosing a review product I new the perfect choice would be the Bug Pod.
The design is simply adorable, the design alone drew my daughters attention. I love the scoop, drain, and air dry feature. My kids often bring toys in the tub that they eventually want to play with out of the tub. My pet peeve is them grabbing a still wet toy from the bottom of the tub and dripping nasty water on my carpet. With the Bug Pod we can scoop'em and leave them to drain and dry.
We have only had it a few days but I am unsure about the adhesive strips. I am not sure if between being pulled on and the water if it will stay put. So far so good though, maybe I'm just being nevous since me and adhesive tape have had our problems in the past. However I don't have a problem using the screw mount method. I probably would have went that method fist if I was patient enough to wait for my husband to do it ;)
You can purchase the Bug Pod at Booninc.com for 34.99 in your choice of pink or red. They also have a frog style (The Frog Pod). Please also keep in mind when you purchase from Boon, Boon gives back.

That is so cute. I always see it at Target, I need to get it!
How cute! Does Boon also make little pods that you can put food in and take with you? My friend had something from Boon and I thought that's what it was. I love that this new one is the ladybug design...it's so precious!
I wish I had one of these when the kids were younger
