SodaStreamUSA Review ~ Saving me time, money, and it's environmentally friendly!

The SodaStream home soda maker is something I was always interested in trying yet unsure if it would meet my family's taste and needs. When I got the opportunity to review a SodaStream it also presented me the opportunity to learn more about it.

I am a self proclaimed soda junkie and as much as a hate to say it I've past it onto my kids. One thing I didn't realize about the SodaStream is, it is much better it is for my kids then your average soda. Your typical 8ozs of Cola has 100 calories, 27 grams of sugar, 23 mgs of caffeine, & high fructose corn syrup. Compared with the SodaStreams 34 calories, 9 grams of sugar, 15mg of caffeine, no high fructose corn syrup, and splenda instead of Aspartame. The diet flavors contain no sugars and are mixed with splenda as a sweetener. With the SodaStream I don't mind them drinking soda half as much as I do regular soda products.

My family has been going crazy over this machine since it arrived. It came with 10 different flavors, including a energy drink mix. My husband spends and average of 8 dollars a day on energy drinks at work. The energy mix the SodaStream markets for the Soda Stream home soda maker taste EXACTLY  like the popular energy drink the he loves. He makes 2 bottles a night and pours them into his water bottles to drink at work the next day. This is saving us a great deal. One bottle of energy mix is 4.99. It makes a equivalent to 33 cans of soda. 33 cans of your average energy drink times 2.50 a can ( what my husband spends per can on average) Well you can see for yourself the savings that is for us. Plus we have saved greatly on our average soda costs per week. It also makes great carbonate water with or without a dash of flavor.
The SodaStream is saving me time, money, and effort! This machine requires no electricity or batteries. It's also about the sizes of your average coffee maker so it sits perfect on the counter top with out taking up to much space.
It takes me up to a minute to prepare the soda from start to finish. I simply fill the bottle with water, inserted in the machine, three pushes of the button for average carbonation, add flavor, and chill.

I counted up to 39 flavors available online from soda's to teas and water. They carry a large selection of regular, diet, and caffeine free products. Mixes range in price from 4.99 to 9.99. Typically one bottle of mix is equal to 33 cans of soda.
Overall we were very pleased with the SodaStream. It offered us a better alternative to store bought soda with ease and convince. The only problem I sometimes have is screwing the bottle in one handed. My husband has no issue with this at all... So maybe I am just weak.

You can purchase the sodastream starting at 99.95 in a variety of colors and silhouettes HERE. You can also visit them on Facebook and Twitter.
