Costume Discounters Review

Happy Halloween!! OK not yet but soon enough. If your a Mom with kids like mine, then it's never to soon to start preparing. Last year I promised myself three things; plan ahead, shop early, and shop from HOME!
Last year as usual we waited until last minute for costume shopping. OK not a big deal I found almost what I/they wanted for three of my four kids. It was my oldest that became an issue. It was... I don't like that, that is for kids, I'm just not sure. After an hour of "arguing" he decided on something and of course they were out of stock. Another three stores and one major headache later we finally settled on something.
So back to my three rules for this year. We decided about two days after Halloween last year, we were going to do a family theme. Cheesy maybe, maybe not... any how Batman it was. I must admit this was my secret way to include myself. I miss dressing up. I always felt a little embarrassed, like this was a "holiday" for my kids now, not me. As for my other rules I was shopping early and online to keep any family antics at home. I was also going to save myself an hour in an over crowded party store, for them to be sold out when someone finally decides on something.
So I started browsing Halloween Costumes online. I came across this great site Costume Discounters  and they had everything I was looking for and more. A great Batman costume, Robin, the Joker and a toddler sized Batgirl. But what about Mom.. I was browsing the teen costumes  selections and found a matching costume to match my "lil' Batgirl".
Costume Discounters was kind enough to offer me the teen Batgirl costume for review. Now I choose the teen size because I am very petite and after checking out all they had to offer I felt the teen costume would fit me a little better then the adult.
You know as soon as the costume arrived I had to slip into it and wake my batman freak son up as Bat "Mom" It fit perfect and was complete with all the bells and whistles. Cape, gloves, belt and the boot shoe covers.

I felt like a kid again and I maybe even ran around the house testing out my super hero skills. All I know is my kids got a good laugh. I'm so excited for Halloween now and can't wait to complete the family theme with these great costumes at Costume Discounters.

They have everything from your classic princess to your witch. Your baseball star to your gangster. With sizes infant to plus and even sizes and costumes for the pooch in your life. Check this out! I wish I new my dog would cooperate because she would definitely be coming with us.

They also included an easy return form in case of any problems. Fill it out and ship it on back for exchange or refund.

You can purchase these costumes and SO much more at the Costume Discounters online store.

Oh and I want to apologize.. but I have decided your going to have to wait until Halloween to see me in all my Batgirl glory!

This was not a paid post and honest opinions were used. The opinions are solely my own and may differ from yours. Thank you to the Costume Discounters who supplied the product for the review.

I bet you ranked high in your son's mind this week! Very cool. I will have to browse their selections! We have the little girls batgirl costume. Since we have two little girls, my husband has had to work hard to bring superheros into our world. But, he has managed to smuggle in batgirl, supergirl and a wonder woman cape!

That is too funny. I bet your son was super excited.
I have my son's costume this year but I do need to look for my daughter's costume. This would be a hit!

Wow, I bet your son loved being woken up by Bat"Mom"! I was Batgirl in third grade but we didn't have online costume shops like this then - my mom had to make my costume!

Fantastic! Thanks for the intro. I HATE our local costume shops. They are such a zoo. Would love to convert to online costume shopping!
